Title: Assembly (frozen)
Reports to: Production manager

Responsibilities

  • Assemble food products
  • Complete daily orders to quantities needed
  • Work hours and days assigned
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Follow all GMP rules

Duties

  • Assemble food products according to written specifications
  • Work morning / afternoon shifts ( as needed)
  • Maintain sanitary work area and follow sanitary work habits
  • Work hours as needed including overtime
  • Meet time and attendance requirements
  • Follow instructions from leads and supervisors

Essential job functions

  • Work in production environment below 50 degrees
  • Occasionally Lift up to 30 lbs unaided
  • Stand in place hours at a time
  • Repetitive hands motion for extended periods of time
  • Occasional turning, twisting motions
  • Wear latex sanitary gloves for the duration of production
  • Work with and around equipment and machinery
  • Work on wet floor, wearing slip-resistant water-proof footwear

Expected level of performance standards

  • Produce to quantities within designated timelines
  • Learn different line positions and assembly process
  • Make product following written specifications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of GMP’s
  • Within 5 days employee must demonstrate ability to work to standards of productivity
  • Within 30 days employee must demonstrate ability to work all line positions to standards of productivity.
